Flucht und Theater in der Antike und heute
Since 2013 there has been a growing theatre scene around exodus and refugees. And so the theatre has also become a place of asylum. In the introduction to Flucht und Szene (see below) is stated: "Wer in den Raum des Theaters eintritt, so lassen sich die laufenden Interventionen lesen, soll wenigstens vorübergehend sicher sein". This volume uses various examples to unfold and illuminate the implications of a theatre of refugees. The volume also provides a theatrical-historical deepening of such perspectives. We want to discuss the theses on theatre as a transitory space for coming and going, first in a reading block (Sophocles' Oedipus on Colonos), then in a panel discussion.
