Martin Mettin is a philosopher and research associate at Humanistische Hochschule Berlin, where he teaches and conducts research on aesthetics, ethics, and philosophical education. His books include Echo im Sprachwald (Neofelis 2019) on Walter Benjamin and Kritische Theorie des Hörens. Studies on the Philosophy of Ulrich Sonnemann (Metzler 2021), which was awarded the Science Prize of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Saxony. He is also co-editor of the correspondence between Sonnemann and Theodor W. Adorno (Zeitschrift für Kritische Theorie 2019) and of the anthology Negative Anthropologie (Neofelis 2021).

Falko Schmieder is a cultural theorist and research team leader of the project The 20th Century in Basic Concepts. A Dictionary of Historical Semantics in Germany.
