As a result of years of collaboration and constant interaction, an intensive working relationship has developed between the ZfL and multiple internationally renowned researchers. Many of these researchers have been appointed honorary members. Both the art historian Hans Belting and the philosopher and literary scholar Stéphane Mosès were Honorary Members of the ZfL.
